Threemile Lake Trail
How to get there
Located 13 miles south of Florence at mile post 204 on the Ocean side of HWY 101. Park at the Tahkenitch/Threemile Lake Trailhead. Halfway through is the highest point on the trail, with a great downhill slope. Trails winds down to dunes and ocean.
Technical trail with roots and pits. 7 miles round trip. Stop and smile at hikers!
Recreation pass or fee required.

How to get there |
Cape Perpetua Trails
From Florence drive 20 miles north on HWY 101. It all awaits you at the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area. Located two miles south of Yachats, this coastal wonderland – where the forest meets the sea – captivates locals and visitors alike.
After the visitor center take road 55. Keep straight at the Y and follow road 55.
Horse Trails
Located about 10 miles north of Florence. After the stables turn right on Herman Peak Road and travel 3 miles uphill on a windy paved road which will turn into gravel. Turn left to Dry Lake Trailhead.
The trails here are rated moderately difficult to easy and can be accessed at the Horse Creek or Dry Lake trailheads.
Stop and smile at horse riders!
Siltcoos Lake Trail
How to get there
7 miles South of Florence off Hwy 101 mile post 198. Turn left onto parking lot. Great lake-front at the bottom of the hill for gazing, wading & swimming.
Trail that turns into a single track loop. You can go either way. Smooth, fast, open single track (one way is steeper & curvier)
Stop and smile at hikers!
Sutton Trails
Located 6 miles north of Florence. Park at the boat ramp on the right side of HWY 101. Follow the trail under HWY 101 along the creek till you reach Sutton Lake Campground. Take a left turn on the paved road. The trail starts in A Loop just left of the group camp.
Technical trail with roots and pits along Sutton Creek.
Stop and smile at hikers!
